Jonathan Schipper

Talking with a student the other day about dis-assembly and destruction. The careful process of taking something apart with the intent to put it back together and then the process of smashing up an object with no intention or possibility of returning back to its original state. Jonathan Schipper did both and used it to explain and demonstrate the moment of destruction of an object over and over again enabling the viewer relive a mindless act.
